At MindVerve, we believe that the ability to be authentic is a fundamental part of human dignity. Our mission is to normalize and foster conversations around mental health and promote a more inclusive understanding of differences in brain functioning and lived experiences.
We offer a supportive space and community to share stories and ideas that inspire and foster connection and thoughtful dialogue. We are teens helping teens but we value diverse perspectives and welcome people of all ages. What matters most is that we’re all here to cultivate an environment of empathy and acceptance, where neurodiversity is embraced, psychological variability supported, and every person valued as they are.

Note from the Founder
During my freshman year of high school, my best friend attempted suicide. It felt like a gut-punch that shattered any remaining youthful innocence. I was overwhelmed with a complex mix of confusion, sadness, helplessness, and especially guilt about missing the signs and not knowing what to do or say afterward. I remember wishing I was more knowledgeable about mental health-related challenges and how to support those who are struggling, particularly when words often feel inadequate. This experience taught me how crucial it is to be able to understand and support those struggling with mental health, especially when words can feel inadequate, even wrong.
Through this experience, I grew a lot and came to have a new appreciation for communities. I believe it is essential to build ones where people feel safe seeking help, and empowered to offer it; simply listening fosters a sense of positivity and purpose where every member feels like an impactful contributor; the most meaningful moments often occur when we simply slow down and are present for each other.
I believe mental health and wellness should be treated with the same seriousness and empathy as any other aspect of physical health because everyone deserves a chance to thrive. And when people are given more opportunity to thrive, so are the communities and societies in which they live.
